Chef Justin Wins Hell’s Kitchen Themed Challenge Which Raised Funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Trenton- NJ

Chef Justin Antiorio (third from left) led a team of culinary students from Mercer County Community College (MCCC) in Hell’s Kitchen themed challenge against opposing Hell;s Kitchen Season 10 alum, Chef Barbie Marshall, on November 7, 2012. Proceeds from the event totaling $1,000 went to the Boys & Girls Club of Trenton (NJ).  Chef Frank Benowitz (center) of MCCC’s culinary program, served as master of ceremonies for the event that took place at the Stone Terrace by John Henry in Hamilton, NJ. Chef Justin’s team won the challenge by getting the most audience votes for Chef Justin’s signature pretzel crusted crab cake recipe.

Chef Justin Antiorio and Chef Barbie Marshall fellow competitor from Season 10 of the FOX Network’s Hit Show, Hell’s Kitchen will appear LIVE at the Stone Terrace by John Henry in Hamilton, NJ as part of culinary battle in conjunction with Mercer County Community College on November 7, 2012 from 7-9pm. The event themed, “A Night in Hell” pits Chef Justin and two MCCC culinary students against Chef Barbie and two other students in a challenge – Hell’s Kitchen style.

MIKE GREGER, PHILADELPHIA – Justin Antiorio could have hidden behind his apron and given up on the dream. Just a month ago, he stood in “Hell’s Kitchen” and the knob didn’t turn, as he finished runner-up to Philadelphia’s own chef Christina Wilson.

But Antiorio holds no grudges. Not against Wilson. Not against tempestuous host chef Gordon Ramsay.

“‘Hell’s Kitchen’ is a stepping stone, but I don’t think it made a difference in how far I’d be in my career,” says the 30-year-old chef. “I went out there with, ‘America, here’s my résumé.’ I have my own style, and I just put it out there and I have no regrets about anything at all.”
